This spring, I got the pleasure of working with Stacie of Magnolia Weddings & Events on her new strategic brand photos for her wedding planning business. As a former planner myself, I understand that selling your services is personal. It’s hard to portray the personal care and attention to detail that goes into serving each client through words alone. These branding photos strategically addressed these hard-to-describe aspect of wedding planner’s services, giving Stacie a strong foundation for upcoming marketing content.
Before creating our session plan, we discussed the details that make Stacie’s service so unique. From proposal to reception, from event design to day-of damage control, we mapped out a shot list to capture both the professional and personal aspects of Stacie’s work and brand.
For those in the event industry, you know that you do just as much work prior to the event as you do on the day of. The planning, preparation, organization, communication. It’s these background services that rarely go documented. However, as a huge part of what you do, this phase of client work has so much content potential for your marketing channels! For this session, we laid out a wedding vision board, fabric selections, color swatches, and planner pages to showcase the preparation stage of wedding planning.
Day-of coordination and management is obviously a major service for wedding planners. We were able to get a sweet couple to model for our brand photo session. This allowed Stacie to showcase the little transitions and details she manages throughout a wedding day, such as bustling a wedding dress or arranging flowers. Branding sessions are all about showing the real work that goes on behind the scenes to serve your clients.
In the end, we created a gorgeous gallery that encompasses every aspect of the wedding planning business. Proposal planning, consultation calls, vision boards, fabric selection, venue tours, dress bustling, floral arranging, menu tastings, and more. These brand photos are going to help a crazy talented wedding planner articulate their approach, worth, and services more clearly.
I’d love to help! Let’s schedule a consultation call to see if I can help bring your vision to life. We’ll discuss whether you’re ready for personal branding, whether my approach is right for you, and answer all your questions. Schedule a consultation call here.
Now, for my favorite part! Please enjoy some of my favorites from this gorgeous session.
