Chef Monica Thomas of Tailored Taste took some time to sit down with me and chat about how things have been going in her business since Covid began, how she has made some pivots, what is in store for the future and of course where she got her inspiration for the Preserved Lemon Bucatini recipe she has been so generous to share with us for the the month of June!
Monica Thomas is the founder of Tailored Taste Personal Chef Service which she began in 2004 she is a certified personal Chef and serves the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area. She is a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy and a premier member of the United States Personal Chef Association, as well as a ServSafe© certified food manager. In 2017 she was inducted into the esteemed Les Dames d’escoffier, a membership-by-invitation philanthropic all-professional association.
Chef Monica has also begun coaching new and aspiring personal chefs through training videos, she offers customized coaching with a New Chef Essentials program which includes one-on-one strategy sessions plus in-depth Masterminds.
I have had the privilege of getting to know Monica over the past six months and it has been an absolute pleasure! Just before the world shut down we were able to squeeze in her branding session so that she could kick off her new Tailored Taste Coaching website!
